PROJECT CASE STUDY • BALTIMORE, MARYLAND
Maryland Avenue
Exterior Painting.
Large-scale exterior restoration and painting across two buildings, including elevated work, metal, trim, rear courtyard areas and wood decks.
THE PROJECT
A demanding exterior from ground level to the cornice.
The Maryland Avenue project covered two connected exterior building areas with work extending roughly five stories at the front and across a long side elevation, rear courtyard walls, fire-escape stairs and decks.
The finish scheme combined gray wall surfaces, white trim, black metal and Cheyenne Red wood decks. Access at height required lift work and careful sequencing around weather and site conditions.
PROJECT EXECUTION
Complex access. Multiple surfaces. One coordinated finish.
The work required sequencing across high exterior walls, the front cornice, long side elevation and rear courtyard areas. Metal elements and fire-escape components were finished in black, trim in white, wall surfaces in gray and wooden deck surfaces in Cheyenne Red.
Weather and lift conditions affected access during the project, but the exterior scope was carried through to completion.
